E V P
E.V.P, what is that you may ask? Well E.V.P. stands for Electric Voice Phenomenon. This all started in the 50s. When a Konstatin Raudive, while trying to record bird songs. He had recorded what he thought was his mothers voice. This caused K. Raudive to be perplexed. So he started to experiment. After a few recordings, he realized it is possible to record voices of those who had passed on. He actually wrote a book. The book, if you can find one is called Break Through. An interesting book to read.
An E.V.P. happens when a person is recording notes. And during a paranormal investigation. When the recording is reviewed, there can be heard a faint voice. That no one can at that time recognize. It is usually just a few words.
To get an E.V.P, it is simple to accomplish. It can be done on a cassette recorder. Or a digital audio recorder. Getting an E.V.P. is at times random. There can be 2 or more recorders side by side. And 1 recorder may get a E.V.P. Or none will. Our team will be there as guest speaker and Q/A come check it out
What type of recorder works? With the cassette recorder. Have to keep track of the time and flip the tape over. A digital recorder can keep recording till batteries die. The audio recorder can be a used one from a thrift shop. To a new one just recently purchased.
How to do a E.V.P. recording. Well, first turn off tv, radio and any source of sound. That includes cell phone. During a paranormal investigation you will hear investigator, recording the date, time recording started, where recording is happening, and who is there. If experimenting, just do date and time. Ask a question into the void. Pause a few seconds, those in spirit need to build energy to respond. Oh yeah, if there is a sound or rumbly tummy. Record what that was to help reduce false positives.
Listen to see if any E.V.P.s were recorded. These E.V.P recordings can be broken down to three categories. Type A, B, and C. Type A is like a clear station on the radio. Can here it with no distortion. Type B, is like a radio channel being just out of tune. Can hear it and just make out the words. Type C well you can hear something but not make out. Like a radio channel way out of tune, and the radio batteries are dying.
Well to who ever attempts to get E.V.Ps, good luck, and have fun.
